Slut
I just bought myself an 92 sc400... It had a leak in the condensor so I changed it... also retrofitted r134a adapters to it.. Converted the measurements of the r12 to r134a due to it bein a higher viscosity... I think i put in a little too low freon.. Only put in 1.14 pounds.. forgot to convert 14 ouces to pounds... but thats besides the point because the car is cold... Only thing is the compressor does NOT cycle at all... Will stay on all the time.. It works i mean I get cold air.. but I dont want anything freezing up due to this.. Any idea's on what it probably is? Could it be I did not put enough freon in? Thanks.. lenore
I hope you get an AC guy on this, but did you change the dryer and have the system completely evacuated? Maybe just a complete evac and reload of oil and R134 is necessary...

Also I cant get heat for some reason after I use it...
ShugNite
My compressor stays on all the time. Weird. An old Explorer I had would cycle in and out, but my coupe has a different process.
