I do not know what it is.. I tried adjusting the rod that goes into tranny by holdign it foward in netrual.. Whatever it told me to do... In drive (D) The shifter has a bit of play front and back... Enough that the car goes out of gear and my shifting is slow and slipping because of it... its through the pnp switch or whatever gear selection switch this lexus has.. Its a 92 SC400.. Do I just need new bushings for the shifter, I do see there is a little bit of play... but Its mainly only in drive.. I wanna know if its more the bushings or I need a new sensor... Im sure others have had this problem before.. Thanks I apprecaite the help. Been driving me crazy because its all off a bit. sometimes the car isnt in park when it is and the steering wheel wont come out.. Ya know..

I did vacuum it out and drain all the old oil and put in new oil... It runs great it really does.. Just doesnt cycle... Also I cant get heat for some reason after I use it...

I just bought myself an 92 sc400... It had a leak in the condensor so I changed it... also retrofitted r134a adapters to it.. Converted the measurements of the r12 to r134a due to it bein a higher viscosity... I think i put in a little too low freon.. Only put in 1.14 pounds.. forgot to convert 14 ouces to pounds... but thats besides the point because the car is cold... Only thing is the compressor does NOT cycle at all... Will stay on all the time.. It works i mean I get cold air.. but I dont want anything freezing up due to this.. Any idea's on what it probably is? Could it be I did not put enough freon in? Thanks..
