Updating 1st Gen Bumper And Spoiler...

My SC400 is a 93. I love the later model front bumper and spoiler though. What is involved in updating the bumper and wing, and making the new lights work as fog lights... Anyone seen a tutorial?

This is discussed a lot on club lexus, you need the bumper fenders and lights. I think the hood is fine though. As for the wing, you can probably just get the later wing and drill holes and install it on your older trunk.

Fenders? Damn, that's likely more than I'm willing to spend on this car for looks alone...

you dont need fenders for the front bumper if you get the 97+ oem bumper it will be a perfect fit but your corning light wouldnt fit with the kit you can go with or without fogs.

So, I can get 97+ fogs and they will work right? What's involved in wiring them to be fogs now instead of cornering lights?

the 97 bumper will work but about the wiring don't know never done it yet but im guessing you just wiring your fogs to your cornering wires but thats a guess. you should check out www.clublexus.com there are so much information on that site.

So are you saying that you would have to buy the 97 fog lights too? And is there a way to convert those to be actual fog lights?

your cornering lights from your 93 wouldn't fit with 97+bumper. about the fogs lights if you want to finish the bumper buy them put them on or don't buy them and go fog-less. there is away to covert them just don't know i will edit this when i have a update.
