SoFreshSoClean Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Ya'll heard right, I need to know what i should do to clean the leather...and quick!!
SW03ES Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Oh man... If I were you, I'd take it to a professional and let him steam clean the interior and hit it with an ozone machine to get rid of any odors.
steviej Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 and make your friend pay for it. :chairshot: steviej
SpeedRacer959 Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 First of all, take your back seat out...it just pulls up in the front, then comes out....from there, you can break out a hose and get it started. The acid from the puke will eat your leather.
Steve Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 man.. thats a nightmare! but the worst nightmare is baby sick... man.. after 5 years I still had sour milk smell... awefull! definatly go to a professional valeter... might charge you more but heck.. they have the tools to remove it
SW03ES Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Yeah, things like that are near impossible to get out totally by a do-it-yourselfer. You need a hot water extractor and then ozone odor removal.
SKperformance Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 i agree just pull up the the rear bench it has 3 clips at the front no screws or bolts for the bottom part you might even want to remoe the leather by undoing the hog pins and clean the padding as well
SoFreshSoClean Posted August 24, 2003 Author Posted August 24, 2003 Thanks for the replies everyone. I think i got it taken care of. I just used that formula 2001 on the leather cuz it wasn't as bad as i think all of you thought it was. Thanks for the replies again!!
bbsal Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 formula 2001?thats just for the dash and trim not leather?it dont even clean really.it just puts a shine on your dash.hmm i would still of put some kind of cleaner on there even if it was that small of a amount!
SpeedRacer959 Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Or maybe he should neutralize the acidity of the puke by pouring milk on the seat? Kidding by the way.
