Robl45 Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 I think there was a topic on here or another board talking about the engine feeling rough when it cuts in and out. Did anyone get this fixed? Mine shut off at the stop light yesterday and shook the car. And when it comes on, you can feel it. Despite all the literature I'm not getting any better mileage with premium and there's about 25 cents a gallon difference so I've gone back to regular. When I took it in... smooth. When I got it back... rough (rougher when cold). Dealer says they can't find anything wrong with it... hmpf. It's not bad. It's not missing or hesitating or anything like that. Just rougher that it was when it was newer. I've noticed a similar roughness in the loner 330s that I've driven. MY understanding is if you switch fuel grades, several tankfuls may be necessary for the computer to optimize to the change, before mileage change occurs!
