98OysterES300
Hey guys-- After seeing the pix of the LS460 on the Lexus site, I can't wait to drive the car at Taste of Lexus next weekend. I car is amazing!! If I had $70k with nothing to do with it, I'd definately have this car the day it is for sale @ the dealer. If anyone in the NY Metro area is still looking to go to Tast of Lexus this year, I have a few extra spots open in my reservation, as a few of my friends will no longer be comming - PM Me for more details. My reservation is @ 9AM - Sunday 10/29/06 @ Belmont Park - Elmont, NY

There are certainly more options available to you to purchase a vehicle than paying full cash for it.
SW03ES
And personally I see no point in paying cash for something like an LS460...
Rx330driver
if you paid cash, the IRS would be at your door the next day... ;)
SW03ES
lol...why?
bartkat
Having that clear title in your pocket makes good if you have to bail yourself out of jail or something.
SW03ES
So does the $72,000 in cash ;) In three years the $72,000 spent on an LS460 will be $41,760. If that same $72,000 were placed in an investment with a 6% yield it would be $85,753.15. Might be able to bail your buddy outta jail too. bartkat
I don't like to carry that much cash around. Thats what makes life interesting LOL Well the reason I had the high bail was cause I had guns in the car and if I carried that much cash, I need guns. So.................... SW03ES
That certainly is a conundrum I agree. Maybe in your situation financing isn't the way to go ;)
