I am planning to purchase the is350 in sports package. This is basically loaded except the navigation and bluetooth. This model will not have the LCD screen right? The dashboard looks so much nicer and well placed with the screen.

no it will not have the LCD screen for the NAVI. Instead there will just be controls for airconditioning. All cars usually look better with nav because it can hide buttons. Look at the RX for example, i think the interior is hideous without nav.

Hideous? Come on. You have a knack for over-dramatization.

True, modern dashboards look better with nav because they're designed FOR nav, but the IS and the RX both are still attractive without it.

On a side note, I'll never buy another car without nav.

ill admit the IS one is fine...but the RX...

im sorry, without exagerating, its really really ugly...that emercency stop button is like 5 inches long...does it really need to be that big and take up an entire row of space? thats my main gripe. but it really is ugly...ithink they should have left a bigger screen, maybe not as big as the nav one, but something around 4 inches...for the clock, computer info, and aircon at least

the red parts are bad

you will notice that the red area is everything the NAV car does not have

I know what it looks like, I get them as loaners all the time. I just don't get it, its not that different. In fact, 90% of people wouldn't even notice the difference.

your wrong, lol...on my rx with nav, the button is like 2 inches, but on the non nave one it is at least 4...seriously, im not even exagerating. 2 is normal, 4 is not.

look at the picture i posed, the Emergency stop button is longer than the Lexus lettering above the radio....

It absolutely is not 4 inches LOL, do you know how big 4 inches is?

Remember, I drive them all the time.
