Bourne33065
I heard about some kind of IS 350 high performace where it has lighter tires, different brakes (brembo) and a new aerodynamics package, is this true? And is the IS500 becoming a relialty or is it still a concept?
Rx330driver
you can get both the 250 and 350 with what they call the X package (new for 2007) where it gives an aerodynamic front dam and 18" wheels. its always been the "high performance" IS... as for hte IS500, lexus is always very secretive about new models, you dont get to see them until they want to show them...usually very soon to the release date. nobody knows if its true, but edmunds just did a story on it with a video...a car was spot looking like an IS with quad exhausts...so yes its coming? btw, IS now comes with a VDIM off switch... Scott M
X-Package with Moonroof includes: - Moonroof - Sport pedals - 18-in Alloy wheels - Sport-tuned suspension - Illuminated scuff plates - Front air dam Additional Options: - Premium Package - Preferred Accessory Package (includes Cargo net, Trunk mat and Wheel locks) - Floor mats, all-weather $3,041.00 Anyone know where I can find more details on this package? The dealer seemed very confused, and I see nothing on the Lexus website offering it. And since things like 18" wheels, moonroofs and illuminated doorsills can come in other packages.... can this be added to an IS350 Luxury package for a lower cost? Why pay for the moonroof, sills and wheels twice?
bartkat
Go to Lexus.com and click on prices/options and scroll. http://www.lexus.com/models/is/price_options.html
Scott M
Go to Lexus.com and click on prices/options and scroll. http://www.lexus.com/models/is/price_options.html Thanks I can see the options using your link, but when I go to Lexus and use my zipcode, those options don't appear. :cries:
Scott M
Although the basic details of the X Package are available on Lexus.com, it does not appear as an option when being built online. On Edmunds.com, it shows that the X Package is only available on models with the color of Smoky Granite Mica, Tungsten Pearl or Obsidian. That cannot be right, can it? Also, anyone know what these new 5 spoke wheels look like?
bartkat
All I've been able to find is that list from Lexus.com and magazine articles citing the press release for the x package. Nothing more firm anywhere.

is350ace
Those wheels are BAD. I'd love to have those but I could probably get some fairly nice aftermarkets for the same price.
