Just get one of the navigation hack things off Ebay. I did it and took like 20 minutes to install and its completely reversible. Allows full access to navigation, dvd playing, etc while in motion. Works by convincing the car its not moving and parking break is on. Ebay example of one

Most tire places will fix a nail hole for free. At least around here anyway. They do have restrictions like you cant work in a construction place where nails are common etc.. but just dont tell them where you work. :)

I live in utah and it snowed pretty good at points this winter. I chose not to get the snow tires since its really only about 2 or3 days that it would really require them. Seemed kinda pointless. On those days though it ws slow going and i slid a few times slighly. the Snow mode does a pretty good job of keeping you on the road. It takes a bit to get used to though since it basically takes some control of the gas away from you. Had a few people get angry at me for going slow :P Oh well i'd rather be safe. What you should do is buy a 1.5k Piece of crap truck to drive during winter time intead of renting. thats what im thinking of doing next winter.

Are you factoring installation charges? I doubt they do that for free...perhaps thats it?

My dealer said they would wash my car whenever i wanted for free. Perhaps yours is the same? Makes them and you look good. Win Win!

I think your talking about the areas to avoid option. When you set them your guided navigation will avoid taking you through those areas. the 5,15,25 miles is how far of a radius around that spot to avoid. Although i could be wrong :P

Heck i went and asked how much to get rear window shade, Seat memory, and rain sensing windows added and she told me it would be 20k+ to get it added, said was smarter to just get a diff car. hehe I was only curious, is why i asked but sheesh.

If i remember right, setting up how the doors unlock when you unlock one of the others is one of those options you can set up with the personalization settings at the dealer. You know the questionair you fill you with all the settings you would like changed (eg. how long the lights stay on after turning off your car etc.. )

I would be looking for one in the 06 Blue Onyx Pearl. I believe it's now called Black Sapphire Pearl for 2007. I also haven't checked the Lexus Tech Site yet for repair/installation instructions. If you already have a sharkfin for XM radio, do you need a different one for Sirrius? or will it work for both?

Well i wasnt first but im just as proud of it! Mine is black/black though so you can see what it looks like. Just picked it up on Thursday and this is the first min i've had to take a picture. I guess im the only one to own one in Utah right now. Its kinda cool though i get a lot of people staring, which is new to me! Congratulations! I think you are one of the first who own the IS w/ X-package in the U.S. So far, I don't see one in So. Cal. I just received the 07' Catalog, didn't know before that the X-package is offered in only 3 colors.... anyway, nice car! Hope you enjoy every second of it. I should get mine tomorrow, i got Black/ Black though. Been waiting 3 and a half weeks for it so far. If it doesnt come tomorrow im going to cry! :P I'll try and get some pics when i get it <sigh>
