ticman Posted August 9, 2003 Share Posted August 9, 2003 While detailing my car I noticed on both sides of the read door frame, just in front of the rear tire wells, 2 strips of tape approximately 6 to 8 inches in length. steviej Posted August 9, 2003 Share Posted August 9, 2003 they are a poor attempt on lexus for edge protection. 3M makes this material and it can be bought in sheets to apply to bumper, hood edge, etc to help eliminate paint chips from rocks and debris.
