SW03ES Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 Here three more shots, one in black two in silver: Whats everyone think? I think they really made some nice alterations, got the car lookin really good again!
zeta Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 yeah those pictures are from japan. the LS in japan is the Toyota Celsior. it goes by a different name. the US is the only place where the tag Lexus is used. all over the rest of the world... it's toyota. different, eh? :D kevin
SW03ES Posted August 5, 2003 Author Posted August 5, 2003 Actually "Lexus" is used everywhere but Japan. Only in Japan are the Lexus models sold as Toyotas, and they wont be for long. Lexus is debuting there as well. I think they did an AWESOME job on the refresh, I like it more each time I see it.
ToddLS400 Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 The front looks awesome. They could keep the rear more euro looking I think? Let's face it, Lexus is competing in the Euro luxury market. That was their inspiration in the gen 1 models. I saw a convertible 430 with it's top down on the way home from work this evening. Very smooth... I wish I could afford it... I must wait a few years to get a used one...
TXLS430 Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 WOW! Those pictures look great! I am for sure waiting now for an '04. I'm going to email those pictures to my sales guide and see what she thinks - she didn't know about a facelift for '04 when we spoke last.
zeta Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 lol oh wait that's right... got 'em flipped 'round. toyota names only in japan. oops heh. but still a GREAT lookin' car nonetheless.
