BA. Posted August 2, 2003 Posted August 2, 2003 Has anyone else noticed that the height of the rear spoiler has varied on the GS400's?? There is a bronze GS400 where I work, I ended up parking next to him the other day far away from the other door-dingers. ;) I noticed that my spoiler is higher than his........and I actually like his better! I don't know what year his is, but it's the same basic Lexus design, and I would presume it's stock,.....but it's just a little shorter. Anyone have info about that?? BA
bluelex Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 r u sure it wa stock, mayb he got his added later on by a shop or bought an after market replica that sits a little higher. i haven't seen any difference on spoilers hieghts b4.
BA. Posted August 6, 2003 Author Posted August 6, 2003 saw a new blacked out GS300 today,........his spoiler was definitely shorter than mine as well. :-/
MrSypher Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 well, man man has a non factory oem spoiler and sits lower to the car than a factory spoiler does.. So most likely it's not factory....
arsmtts Posted August 7, 2003 Posted August 7, 2003 MrSypher, where could I find the rear window spoiler and how much will it cost me?
BA. Posted August 7, 2003 Author Posted August 7, 2003 dude, you're muckin' up my thread here! :) Go to www.lextasy.com and click on the GS300/GS400 button. Or, go to the L-Sportline site. I've been looking, and MOST spoilers I'm seeing are shorter than mine. Heck, just looking in the GALLERY here and at clublexus.com shows that most are shorter than mine. I'm soooo starting to not like mine! :) doggonnit, I'm gonna post some pics......
steviej Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 many lexus dealerships also get spoilers from http://www.spoilerdepot.com they can be ordered in Lexus factory paint and are easy to install. The can look like L-Sportlines but may not be the exact same dimensions. you can also order direct and save the dealer increase and labor. steviej
