1996 Es 300 Obdii Location

I tried to search the forum before I asked this question...I could only find information about the earlier models.

I have a 96 ES300 and my Check Engine light came on. I have a OBDII code scanner, but I have not been able to locate the connector. I checked the engine compartment and the passanger compartment, with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

I don't think the 96 is OBDll it might be OBDl, Look into it further, I could be wrong.

Thanks for your help. That may be the case, but I thought that OBDII was mandatory on 96 and newer cars. I may have to call the dealer on Monday.

N u can pull what the codes r here.

U can also download the FSM (Full Service Manual) for ur generation. They will also tell u how to check. Go to the diagnostic PDF n go to around Page 3 or so.
