If I slide/hold the console all the way back, whatever it is in there, is jammed tight and the noise stops. How the heck do you remove the entire center console? If not, it's under warranty, take it to the dealer tell them there's a noise coming from it and let them hear it. I think they can take care of that under the warranty? I bought it in Feb w/5000 miles on it (demo) and it always had the problem, so I know I didn't do it. In hindsight, I should have had them look at it at the first maintenance schedule. My concern is it is a coin or something like that, and they'll blame it on me. I was thinking if it was easy to remove the center console, I do it myself. zube Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 On each side of the console there is a cover remove under each cover there is 3 10mm bolts remove them. The front of the console comes off under there is a plug for the light in the center console unplug. Now on the passenger side there is the cable that is attached to the handle that lets you slide the console back and forth once you remove all those things the console will lift rite out.
