  1. 2005 RX330 in New England. When the car has been sitting outside when the air temperature is hot the windows stick when you try to open them. There's a line on the window where the window meets the seal. The dealer claims the window isn't clean and it is build-up of "interior compartment pollution". I recently cleaned the windows, inside and out, and scraped clean the line on the window. I parked at work the next day, it was hot, and at the end of the day the windows stuck and the line on the window returned. My theory is the window seal is "melting" on the window. Anyone experience this, and if so, any ideas on how to fix this? Thx, Jeff
  2. I don't think that applies to the discussion, but I could be wrong. The hesitation I experienced was straight-line driving (where I don't think VSC comes into play). In my case, the hesitation was when I was rolling at slower speeds and punched it. There was nothing there for an unreasonable delay.
  3. Lexus has a fix for the hesitation. I have an 05 RX330 and after a lot of back-and-forth with Lexus and my dealer, they applied the fix. After a month of agressive driving, the hesitation went away. It still doesn't shift right, though. Step on the brake while coasting downhill and it downshifts....drives me nuts as it happens every workday as I drive home from work.
  4. I'd let Lexus find the problem. I bought it in Feb w/5000 miles on it (demo) and it always had the problem, so I know I didn't do it. In hindsight, I should have had them look at it at the first maintenance schedule. My concern is it is a coin or something like that, and they'll blame it on me. I was thinking if it was easy to remove the center console, I do it myself. Even if it is a coin or something like that, would it still be covered under warranty?
  5. 05 RX 330 I have something sliding around under my center console. If I slide/hold the console all the way back, whatever it is in there, is jammed tight and the noise stops. How the heck do you remove the entire center console?
