Salacak
I have a 1991 LS400 and my odometer turned 00.000 after 89.999 and now shows 04663 instead of 94.663. I checked all the carfax and records before buying it last year and milage is correct but now this.Any idea what to do, dealer will ask arm and a leg I know. Next reading at the motor vehicle is in few months and when they read 5000K what is going to happen car odometer history. Thanks guys
lexus411
will end up being a TMU{true mileage unknown} but on a 10 year old car it doesnt hurt the value as much
sha4000
those things usually go out and need to be replaced, which is not worth it in my opinion. on my 91 the odometerwent out at 170k
Salacak
I guess I have to leave it alone, at least I have the record until 2004 and it is a true 88.000K.

akewlguy
Damn you have a new car. My wifes brother spent about 10k on a 2001 Rover (Jag).. Sounded like a deal, but then he realized the car had 200+k on the engine.. Eastern Europe then flip the miles so he did not pay attention.. Funny mileage story, but good thing he has the money. :)
