I starded the car today and engine was shaking for a 5-6 seconds and smoke was coming from the egzost after turned normal.What can cause this , seems like few spark plugs weren't working. I never had any problem when car was running or when I was driving. Is this related to fuel injections? Do I have to put something in to the fuel tank (If it is what should I use) Thanks guys Best forum ever

Thanks I did put it on 65 and still no cold air, I thought maybe freon is low and when tried that code test pushing recycle and outo buttons same time than start the car this gives you all the codes about the A/C and there when it was testing I heard A/C came on while it was testing.

I checked lexls.com tutorials and my A/C code shows "" Code 21=Open or short in solar sensor circuit."" anyone knows what is this code means and how to fix it.

While changing the compressor we changed the new R134. I checked Lexusguy tutorial and my code shows 21 according to book (21* Open or short in solar sensor circuit.) What is this means? Fuse or something? I like to find out this before going to the mechanic.

I put last year new A/C compressor and everything was good. Two days ago was fine too but Yesterday I put the A/C on and nothing I mean blows hot air hot hot air. Any idea, I can't tell compressor coming on or not but feels like does not come on but again I know that if freon is low it won't come on anyway. I still want a see maybe fuse (If anybody can tell me where the A/C fuse located) but inside the buttons A/C button lights up when I put it on. Thank you guys

I hear some noise from the back, not all the time sometimes. Sometimes 10-15 seconds. I have to say fuel pump but it is not like a buzzing noise. Other day I turned of the engine and after that I heard like water running noise (Exactly like water running throught the pipes kind of noise) and it took 4-5 seconds and it was gone. What is this? Fuel pump or something else? If this is a fuel pump how much labor we are talking about, I checked on ebay and people selling around $60-90 for fuel pump replacements is it easy to replace? If this is not a fuel pump what else can be.

Mine is the same, I hate it but I guess nothing we can do.

Thanks for the reply and good information, I believe motor vehicles equipment was correct because when guys told me to push on the gas pedal until 2500 RPM I did it and my RPM was showing 1200 when his was 2500 and I believe his was right (Testing 100+ cars a day). Some how my RPM show low numbers because when I'm doing 50 mph still stays around 1000 RPM proves that I think. But still I don't know where to start and what to look for.

I don't have proper equipment but what should I look for or how to fix it if something I can do? I don't want a end up dealers hands, I rather stay and drive the way it is but if anything simple or I can handle why not I'll give it a try.

Thank you for reply, no check engine light or any other code comes on. I feel like you saying some sensor but no codes or check engine light comes on. I also start reading stuff and saw throutle clean up might help idle and power issues with the car but I don't know I can do it or not (I looked at tutorials from lxus guy) but again I'm not sure what the think of. Tell me this when you are doing 40-50 mph on a straight road what is your idle shows? mine is around 1000 even less. If you think this is a sensor issue (but like you said light should come on) how to fix or change the thing do you know? Thanks again

I was doing 50 mph and RPM was around 1000 I feel like it is low numbers but car runs fine and I have no trouble at all, it is not like at the stops runs low and stalls or anything; and also it is not feels like car engine runs high RPM and my gage doesn't show it either.

No, no. This is the thing, car runs perfect and when it is on D idle shows around 0.2 or 0.3 driving nice, at the traffic light shows around same 0.3 (Kind of low but) this is the thing; I never notice something was wrong until at the motor vehicle guy told me to go up on idle up to 2500 RPM when I was doing so my idle was showing 1200 or 1300 RPM but his machines already was up to 2500 and he told me your RPM doesn't show correct numbers I said really and starding to realize that my idle shows low numbers. But I can not tell only idle shows wrong number or really car runs on a very low RPM. I don't notice anything wrong or any problem whatsoever. If only my idle shows wrong number, how can I fix that or if car really runs on very low idle how to fix that? Thanks again guys you are the best.

They were testing the car and he told me come to between 2000 to 2500 there we realized my gage was showing 1200 when actually it was 2500.

I just came from motor vehicle and they told me that my idle is not correct (I said no way it is accurate and working fine) but their machine shows idle is 2500 my gage shows 1300 and I think they were right. Car runs fine and idle looks normal but after motor vehicle experience I start watching closly and looks like my gage shows lower than actual numbers. What can cause this and how to fix it. Thank you guys for your help.

You guys making too much out of this. In Europe people drives 140-170 mph on hour regularly, these cars made for speed one of the posters says this speed antenna would have damaged? give me a break!!! Actuality buying these cars in US is a waste of money because you can not enjoy the car what this car really made for. I go over 100 mph ones in a while for 30 seconds. Yeh thats all we got here.

I agree with DLO for Ipod.They are the best product out there for FM transmitter and I use for my Lex and quality is excellent.Never had problem adjusting and never had any problem with interferens.Cost around $100 and comes with lighter charger and home charger, connectors cable and+++.You can use at home and turn any tuner in your home systems FM to same channel and listen all the songs you have in your Ipod. I don't recommend cable hook up (even monster cable) FM quality excellent.

I bought compressor with the dryer on ebay and paid $300 same like those guys asking $1100 for it and I have it more than 4 months and everything is perfect.Only new r134 is not better than old system but now everybody converts and nobody carry old r12 anymore. Still cold like ice.

I tried every other possible way to set it, doesn't matter it is not coming on no matter what I do.
