Dust Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 The new IS series is expected to be released soon. Some say it will be on the market this year. Specifications : 215 - hp ( IS 250 ) 2.5 litres * Huge plus for people who want to save gas * 315 - hp ( IS 350 ) 3.5 litres * Huge for those who feel the need for speed * They also might revise the final product. Does anyone have any more sources on this? Prices. Cons. Pros. etc... Here are some picutures I am really impressed with this design. Now I am wondering whether I should really get it, gas prices are booming and that's a major impact for me especially here in New York. I always wanted a manly luxurious top notch LS series, but I am only 20 and I wanna experience what this class can offer me. What do you guys think?
lexus411 Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 The car will be released Oct 15th 2005. There is alot of info on here about it and some good feedback. Probably one of the most fun Lexus I have driven. I will definitely be ordering one.
SKperformance Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Saw it at Lexus' pre release party last week. Very nice car only missing the actual production style finishes. Not my pics but from IS300.net or myis.com
Dust Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 wow, looks real nice in black. What is the base price for the IS 250. Also does anyone know how many mpg this car goes for. Thanks :)
GSsoldier Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 http://www.thecarconnection.com/Enthusiast...S178.A9342.html dont forget the new LS too haha even tho the IS i have to say could be an M3 killer
SKperformance Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 I just realised this is in the LS section and i am going to rename it as the title is of little meaning.
Dust Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 Yeah, great job SK. Sorry, I just wanted the LS users to share some opinions on the new model. I dont really know anyone in the IS forum section, but certainly willing to find out if, hey everyone. :)
