fallabel
I'm hoping to replace the fuel filter in my car on my own. I've got located the filter in the engine compartment, but I can't figure out how to access and loosen the fastener on the bottom of the filter. It seems like jacking up the car wouldn't actually help, since the space beneath the engine appears rather cramped. Any hints?
SKperformance
did you find the other posts about the fuel filter in the ES section. Please watch this short movie before making more threads.
fallabel
Thanks. I did a search on this forum (and the Maintenance How-to Forum) before I posted this thread. The pictures on the tutorial post weren't working, so that wasn't much help. Anyway, I think I might be able to reach it with a flex-head rachet, but I'll be doing it by feel. Does that sound appropriate?
SKperformance
Yes it is a pain to reach the bottom one as you can;t see it and the brake booster doesn't help by being in the way.
