bbsal Posted July 7, 2003 Posted July 7, 2003 i dont think you can just turn it off.im pretty sure you have to bring it to the dealer to have it checked and then they can reset it for you.somewere on my computer i have a schematic on how to reset it but i have to find it.i think you have to jump a couple pins on the harness but i will check.

lex Posted July 14, 2003 Author Posted July 14, 2003 The Lexus dealer wanted to charge me $90 to diagnose the airbag light problem, so I took it to an independent Toyota/Lexus Care shop and they resetted the light for free using some piece of equipment that looked like a large digital multimeter. It reported that the light was triggered by the malfunction of the right side impact sensor. I don't know how that could have happened. But anyway the light hasn't come back on, so I guess its ok to leave it alone?
