SW03ES Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Nice, I like it. This car should have MUCh wider appeal than the rather niche oriented and boy racerish IS that we have right now.
exdotcomer Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Nice, I like it. This car should have MUCh wider appeal than the rather niche oriented and boy racerish IS that we have right now. ← that car looks great.
vcv10guy Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 Nice looking car, I still like the new GS more, but it's even more appealing than the current IS. I agree Steve, this car does have a much more "wider" appeal than before. I hope this model's trunk is bigger than the current one.
dickholy Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 i personally feel this is look like a Mazda 6.... sporty but common.
MingF Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 The new IS is pretty nice. I also like the 06 GS more than the IS, but the interior looks almost identical to the 06 GS...just a smaller scaled version. Very nice car! Does anyone know what the horsepower is? Any engine improvements?
SW03ES Posted March 2, 2005 Posted March 2, 2005 The interior is similar in style (thats Lexus new look) but I think the two interiors have very different styling and personalities....
Lexusfreak Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 IS will be more affordable naturally & I guess we shall see if they put the 3.5L V6 in it with AWD :whistles: :D Then were talkin! B) Right now, the best buy is the all new Avalon......better than the current ES (which has already generated a lot of comments at least on CL), better value than the new GS (although I am fully aware they are totally different animals). Looking forward to the next generation ES next year! It should be very intresting. :whistles: ;)
SW03ES Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 LF- I drove the new Avalon yesterday and it was nice, but not as nice as the ES. I'm going to write my review in the General section today. Lets just say its "value" was apparent at all times.
johngalt1998 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Thanks for sharing. The ride and interior have always been my fav parts of a Lexus, but i'm really liking the "L-Finesse design philosophy". :)
