    Hi everyone, the horn on my 2001 IS300 which I have recently bought does not work. Is there anything I did not turn on, or it is just a bad horn. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Also, the one of the yellow fog light does not work. I am not really sure what kind of light bulb it is, but it looks round. I am really appreciate if anyone can help me. Thanks

    i had recently test drive a 02 BMW 330i, my friend`s new MB C 230 and 00 GS300. the bmw 3 is very noisy inside while driving. GS300 is so great, very enjoyable. 10 times better than my es300.

    if you have, please share ur experience with me. i am now looking for bmw 3 or 5, or MB ml, all around the year 2001. but i just curious about the dependbility about those cars compare to lexus es300 which i own now. i hope those cars will not require expensive parts always be replaced.

    30MPH in local and 50MPH in highway is the best way to save $$. try to save some $$ on gas for ur next speeding ticket!

    ohhh, i got the similar problem.. sometimes i can remote control like 30 feet away, but most of time, it is not good even within 10 feet. so i just keep changing the battery like every month. my local radio-shock loves me!!

    hi, i had the same problem about two months ago. SteveJ gave me the properly assistance and my )2 problem had been solved. i think you can search the past topics about O2 sensors... there are 3 sensors in the car, the best way is to replace all 3 of them, because they have almost the same life, one is out, another 2 are colse, so... good luck!! :P

    thanks for both of ur replies. my vehicle was purchased from a praviate seller, and had no maintained record. im not sure how it`s gonna affect the selling price. i am a novice about selling products, but i was expecting that can be sold for about 8k, is that possible?

    It is a 1997 ES 300. has 140K on it now,all high way miles( i drive between buffalo and NYC every other weeks) Dark green with tan interior. no accident history or dins. engin is quiet, can not feel it is started when sit in the car(of course when it is started). i want to get a 02 or later ES330 after i sold this one. what price do you think is a fair for me to sell it? thanks alot for ur replys.!

    i think u must pushed UNLOCK buttom on the remote before u go to ur car, but eventually u did not open the door. so the door just automatically LOCK itself within 20 seconds.

    this screw bolt is to hold the lower fence of the door-wall, but it was not propertly installed, and the door can not close tied. does anyone know how to take it out and reinstall it. thanks

    i think the differences are in north-east, i can almost get anything i would need daily within just couple of miles. I am sorry but i noticed two things, 1.Most writer they from north. Winter, they don't have anything to do or they can't do anything so they write. 2.Reason of snow in winter you don't wants to drive and summer city fixes roads so you can't drive. In texas we drive 10K in 5-6 months.

    also, after the problem been ccorrected, it saved alot gas. i drove to NYC when the CEL on, i used about $40 gas... after it fixed and drove back to buffalo, it only ate about $28...

    thanks everybody here..... my problems have been solved, now the car is excellent!!! i am very appreciated all your help! all 3 sensors are found exactly as steveJ said... bank 1 sensor 1 is really hard to find, but finally my dad helped me to replaced it in about 30mins. i totally bought 2 new sensors, one is from autozone(Bosch) and another one from parkplugs.com(Denso).

    some one told me there are 3 sensors... can any one explain where exactly the 3 sensors are located? i changed 2, one just beside the engine in front under the hood. another under the car in the middle part... i can not see there is the third one.

    i got code read for CEL, bad bank 1 sensor 1. ok i changed both sensors(according to manual, there are only 2 sensors). but after 10 miles of driving, CEL came back on. got code read again... same problem. what`s up with this car? this car really bothers me, i am now missing my solara which i exchanged to this one!! :cries: :cries: :cries: :cries: :cries: :cries: :cries:

    i change my motor & trans oil for every 2 months. they look great all the time!!! yeah, my car will appreciate me alot.

    i live in buffalo and the weather is extremely cold especially in the morning. i always warm it up for like 10 mins before i move it. i park it in the yard. i got es300 97`, so i know this senior grader need such a special care.
