Brake Pads

Anyone have the part #'s for OEM front and rear brake pads for a 2000RX?

Also is there a separate shim kit needed?...If so, I need the part # for it to.

I'm looking to go to the Toyota dealer to pick up the parts and want to avoid and Lexus/Toyota confusion if any.

Okay, The OEM Lexus Brake pad Part #'s are:

Front: 04465-48060

Rear: 04466-33050

Unfortunately these numbers will do you no good at the Toyota Dealer...apparently Lexus and Toyota use 2 different parts numbering systems.

So does anyone know the Toyota part numbers for the front and rear pads on a 2000 RX?

FYI...My Lexus dealer wants $75.00 per side or $150.00 total for the front and rear OEM pads. I can buy the same pads on-line for $45.00 per side ($90.00 for the front and rears). Now, if I knew the exact Toyota part numbers I could stop at the local Toyota dealer and save on the shipping.

Give me a day to get back to check I believe some ES pads will work but have to compare them I will get back to you hopefully by 1/5/04 6pm ish PST.

Here is the info you needed 04465-48060 can be replaced by 04465-33230 or 04465-33121 or 04465-33180 Also for the rear 04466-33050 can be replaced with an 04466-32050 or 04466-33040 Of course the pad composite is different but I checked both front and both rear numbers and they match right up and are all 4 good Toyota part numbers. Can't tell you. I wound up ordering OEM Lexus pads online from Irontoad for about $90 for all 4 wheels. At that price it didn't make sense try and match up the part #'s with Toyota pads.
