However, recently the check engine light has pemanately illuminated while the engine is running. All the fluids are OK and the engine sounds and performs perfectly. 92Lex Posted December 15, 2004 Share Posted December 15, 2004 The check engine light has nothing to do with your fluid levels. Because your car is OBD2 it is definitely emissions related. For older cars mostly the check engine light are related to air/fuel ratio IF the engine sounds and runs perfectly. 92Lex Posted December 17, 2004 Share Posted December 17, 2004 Bank 1 sensor 1, heated O2 sensor circuit malfunction.
