sagebum
My 1994 es300's engine shakes The first sign of problem was taking a long time to start my car (cold start), sometimes after it's been running a while, it'll start quickly, but still sometimes will take long. I also smelt gas sometimes after the car starts. After i had this problem a few weeks, the engine began having a light shake. And now, after about a month, the shaking is getting very bad. Even in "D" gear, the engine shakes heavily. I've changed spark plugs, pcv valve, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, oil. (most of the stuff i replaced was still in good condition) I currently have no idea to what else i should be checking. Any suggestions/help would be helpful. If there is any other information i should be putting here, please tell me. James
bartkat
First thing that comes to mind would be a loose or cracked vaccuum line.
SKperformance
check the intake for rips as well as you may have a carbon build up issue
sagebum
I just went to the store and noticed something else about the shaking. after recently changing that fuel pressure regulator(this morning), Now it shakes very little right after startup. After i put it into gear and step on the gas and let it go, then it starts shaking heavily, if i put it back into park, it stops shaking and i can put it into gear and it runs fine, until i step on the gas and let go of the gas, it starts shaking heavily again. hope that gives more info on what other kind of problem it might be. Ill check out that vacuum line and intake, thanks.
