sox and martin Posted November 21, 2004 Share Posted November 21, 2004 I can only open 3 doors when using either the interior switches or by using the key on the driver's side. The passenger front door lock will not operate unless I use the key in that door. I can lock or unlock all 4 from that point. I wonder if anyone has seen this? I have attempted to remove the door panel to have a look. This proved to be very difficult when it came to removing the cup around the inteior door latch mechanism. sox and martin Posted November 22, 2004 Author Share Posted November 22, 2004 The lock motor is silent. I may have to obtain a schematic to be able to test for power to the motor. I am assuming that when the key is used in that door it is mechanically moving the mechanism and not electrically. Thank you for your thoughts on this.
