On a recent trip through the wilds of Southern Oregon and up through Crater Lake we consistently got wrong advice on turns and directions. It works fine in more populated areas but was really innacurate in the countryside, at least in Oregon.

It wasn't the location indicator that was wrong; the indicator was right on most of the time and was quickly corrected a few times when it drifted off the mapped highway.

The problem was the voice instructions: out in the forest we got frequent advice to make left turns and right turns where there were no roads or intersections at all. Again the map indicator was mostly correct but the advice was way off.

The weather was rainy and overcast but still the map indication was mostly correct.

Needless to say we are disappointed that this thing wouldn't work one of the times when we needed it most!

Anyone else have this experience?

If you have a Lincoln Navigator, Lincoln's nav system isn't very complete.
