slate67 Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 When purchasing a repair manula set can a subsequent year's manual be used if the series is the same. I have a 1998 GS 400. I cannot find a 1998 manual set but there is a 1999. Since 1998 was the year of the remake with only minor changes to the 1999, 2000 (from what I have read) can a 1999 manual set be used as a guide to repair a 1998? Will there be any problems with part numbers and diagrams that anyone is aware of? Thanks.
99lsguy Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I think you would have an exact match Just like my LS, the only differences are cosmetic and standard feature enhancements. difference may be: std heated seats; std HID's; different colored parking lights, etc.....
gcarpent Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 You can find both volumes of your manual here. http://www.books4cars.com/result3.htm?finddesc=gs&Submit=Go
