functionFiRst
Hey guys, Just like the topic says, I have trouble starting my car, If it's cold, and i try to start it, it makes a click noise once, and all my guage lights go on. I know it's not my battery or battery connection because my headlights still work. I have no idea what it could be, the starter or ignition maybe. After leaving the key in for about a minute or two and starting it, It's starts fine. Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks in advance! SC4Million
Next time you can leave the car take it to any local National Tire and Battery or any shop with an electrical system tester. Leave it overnight and have them test it in the morning when it wont start. That should pinpoint the problem.
jeremyp
Sounds like a starter solenoid.
SKperformance
The starter contacts need to be changed. Headlights working mean nothing to a starter as it needs more power than them.
functionFiRst
It's seems to be working fine now. But I know the problem might come back. Thanks for you help guys. I'm gonna get the starter and solenoid checked tomorrow.
