Question to the Lexus Gurus,

Are the 2000 seats compatible with the 95's?, are the rails the same as the 95? My drivers seat has a crack now, I'm thinking of going to a junk yard and want to see what my other options are.

I can't find anything in the search feature of this forum,

Thanks,

Tex

find an automotive re-upholsterer in your area. They may be able to repair just the panel that is torn for a fraction of the cost of a whole new seat.

Mine ('96) just cracked too. The bottom of the drivers seat. I ordered a new one from the dealer($520) for just the leather cover on the bottom of the drivers seat. I got a quote from a local upholstery shop for $325 to re-upholster the bottom cusion, and he could not guarantee a 100% match. I plan on keeping the car for a while to come and the seat back is like new so I felt this was best for me. The passenger bottom is starting to crack and I'll do that next, then I'll have a perfect interior.

Well, thanks for your imput, I was getting excited since I found some used 1998 ones on a junk yard that's about 40 miles from home, you saved me a trip.
