BlurrySC300
I've been thinking about relocating my batter to the trunk. The only problem is, I have no idea what I would need to do. HAHA! Any advice or suggestions?
JDOwen2
Get a new battery box and some longer battery cables. Drill some holes in your trunk floor. Secure box in trunk. (Optima makes some neat batteries, you can mount them in any position). Run new cables to new location. Sounds simple but you'll have to secure the new cables alongside the frame with insulated clamps. Also make sure the new battery box is bolted down securely. Need to vent the box also. bean_8044
Jegs or Summit Racing sells complete kits for around $60-70. Comes with the container, tie-down straps and all cables.

Calvin L
yea, you could have some extra space by removing the cd changer and/or amp. this may not seem to practical, but for people who are major weight junkies, it is a really good idea as the front of the SC is freaking heavy.
