jules92 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 hey guys, i just bought a sweet pair of front cross drilled and slotted front rotors, im pretty sure i know how to take them off, the front is pretty easy but i have heard of the caliper locking up and then your in a mess, i just wanted to know is there a chance they could? or is it not probable. cheers guys, i'll post the pics when i have them on.
SKperformance Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 read the write up in the workshop tutorials i spent an hour to write
timmay217 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 yea that was a great job you did skperformance, it explains everything you need to know but i still couldn't get my rear rotor off =X i'm gonna take it to a a shop and have them try to take it off
SKperformance Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 did you use the rear bolts to screw into the holes in the rear rotors hub which will press tehm out? It takes a few turens to get them to pop out as tehy will bang real lound as you do it and they release
timmay217 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 there's two bolt holes but there are way too small
SKperformance Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 way too small for what? take the bolts from the rear suspension caliper bracket and thread them in
