Antifreeze Leak?

i noticed some anti-freeze leaking/seaping from the antifreeze resevoir. it is not coming from the radiator cap. there is a plastic cap that has wire connected to it(next to radiator cap) and the antifreeze is coming out here.

any suggestions?

can only come out there if it is too full. that is the level sensor for antifreeze. If engine was running hot, suppose it would come out there if it was not on tight before it cracked the pressure cap,also.

I think a lot of the early LS models do this. My 93 does it when I have the coolant filled to the lower limit (cold) line on the reservoir.

I think the fill line is too high on the reservoir. If you will fill it to about one inch below the line, it shouldn't expand so much that it forces it way out of the sensor.

is there a big difference between the cold and hot levels when leaving the car hot and coming back to it cold?

If so you need a new rad cap
