silkiechicken Posted June 12, 2004 Share Posted June 12, 2004 so... i have a bottle of fuel injector cleaner... should I or should I not use it? i have a 93 sc with 110k mi on it... would it have any benifit at all or is it just a waste of effort? the car is fine running, just wondering if it will help anything, like gas milage (i get 15-17 mpg while trying to keep the rev's under 2000 rpm!). should i follow the dont fix it if its not broke idea? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The chemicals contained with the cleaner arent exactly friendly to an engine for long-term use. blueviol Posted June 14, 2004 Share Posted June 14, 2004 Even with 200K+ miles on my 95 SC400, I am getting 22 MPG normally (once 26 over 500 mile highway trip) after modifying the intake with K&N intake (costs $70 at eBay).
