I have a 2008 Lexus RX400h which I bought in November 2023 to replace my 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. It's been an adjustment, but I am loving it. When I first got the car, it would beep and alert me as I drifted close to the lane marker, or side of the lane I was in, to let me know I had gotten too close. I found it irritating at the time, and I was able to disable it without any trouble at all. Now, seven months later, I'd like to turn it back on. But I can't find anything about it in the book, or online, or anywhere. The dealer can't even seem to help me. Does anyone here know how to turn the lane assist back on? Or was it all a figment of my imagination?

I thought at first I was having battery problems when I bought it (2.5 years ago) because it was not starting, and then I'd find that the little battery was somehow draining. Someone here suggested that maybe I was keeping my key in my house too close to where the car was parked and it was trying to connect and causing issues. Moving the location of the key solved my problem. But now it sometimes won't start and I know the battery is not at fault. It just won't connect, if that's a way to say it. I can sometimes hear a click under the hood when turing the key, but it won't "catch" or show "ready". When I replaced the batteries in the keys, the gentleman who did it said that there was a loose connection inside the key he had to fiddle with in order to get them to work properly, but all the lights come on and the doors immediately lock or unlock, so I think it's not from that. If it's the starter, would it act this way? Every now and then when I turn the key, it will start, but I never know when it's just not going to. I ask because it's really hard to find a place that understands hybrids near me and I'm so handicapped. Thank you so much.

What are the torque specs for 1997 Lexus ES300 engine oil pan bolt? I can't find it in the user manual. Web search gives different results.

I have this exact problem after replacing the dash. I had one connector that I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where it went. Any more info would really help.

Toyota did not win: Ferrari: Hydrogen cars were promoted and expected to race no later than 2027: June 15 was a milestone for the H24, the first electric hydrogen racing car in the MissionH24 program run by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and H24Project. The H24 opened an unprecedented hydrogen parade, before welcoming the official visit of starter Zinédine Zidane to the starting grid for a legendary photo, and completing its final lap of honor at the Le Mans 24 Hours. A historic day for hydrogen at Le Mans on June 15. Shortly after 9 a.m., the tuk tuk H2 from start-up Systemics completed a range test on the Alain Prost karting circuit. This particular vehicle completed 24 hours of driving, using 2 kilograms of hydrogen and covering a total of over 700 km. Shortly after midday, an unprecedented demonstration took place on the main circuit of the 24 Heures du Mans, with 4 hydrogen prototypes: the H24 from MissionH24, the Ligier Bosch JS2 RH2, the Foenix from Solution F, a subsidiary of GCK, and the Alpenglow Hy4 from Alpine. The latter carried a special passenger, Zinédine Zidane. The parade demonstrated the concrete deployment of hydrogen in endurance racing. All these cars are now on display in the Village Hydrogène. I tried tapping the motor a few times with a bit of metal to see if if would budge while moving the switch back and forth....it wouldn't budge...fortunately its in a perfect driving position so I will leave well enough alone. At the same time I replaced the C148 gear in the Up-Down motor as it had become noisy, packed the little gear box with grease, and its quiet again. Thanks for your help Paul...much appreciated.

My TX500h was great for a while, but then started experiencing poor gas mileage. It then lost almost all power and I had alternating error messages about the hybrid system just as I started on a long trip on June 3. I had the car towed to the dealership on June 4. I was told that the hybrid computer module failed and was back ordered. My car is third on the waitlist. The part has to come from Japan and has an expected arrival of earl July. The dealership gave me a TX350 as a loaner, but they won’t let me drive it out of state. I bought the car for long trips, mainly out of state, so I am out of luck. I thought Lexus vehicles were reliable.

@Kent H what did you find i have a 95 sc300 we bought a tweaked harness and everything works but the instrument cluster no lights coolant fuel speedo and rpm are inop everything worked with the stock harness when we switched to tweaked nothing worked

I’m having heat radiate under the passenger rear seat. Years ago I was inadvertently told that my vehicle needs something added to the hydraulic suspension, I was never sure what they were telling my husband because he wasn’t able to communicate with me what they said it needed. I’ve driven around 20,000 since they first told me. I don’t know how long it’s been getting hot under my car, I only. discovered it by accident. Is it safe to continue to drive it?

Hopefully, you'll get a direct answer, but I am curious why you would not consider an ES300h. My sister has one and cannot be any happier, especially with its stellar gas mileage of 42 MPG average and up to 50 mpg on the highway.

No problem yesterday -today "heavy" gas pedal, check engine light, VSC off. won't rev past 2000 RPM. Recent TB, etc work done. Any thoughts? I haven't gone to an OBD yet; just put it back into gsarage.

has anyone had this problem before where the AC is hot on the drivers side but cold on the passenger side?

The bluetooth mic volume has changed to a low setting where people can no longer hear me. It used to work fine. Is there a volume control that i can use or is it strictly a dealer adjustment?

I'm looking to buy a 2023 Lexus Certified. Trying to decide between the ES 250 and the ES 350. I've enclosed a viewpoint from Edmunds about the engine . 7.9 out of 10 edmunds TESTED The Lexus ES 250 finally brings an all-wheel-drive powertrain to the ES lineup. Unfortunately, the 250's lethargic four-cylinder engine is unworthy of being in a luxury car such as this. Unless you absolutely need all-wheel drive, the V6-powered ES 350 is a better buy. The ES 250's endearing qualities are otherwise present in the ES 350 as well. Does anyone with a 2013 ES 250 notice the engine being lethargic and Noisy?

I don't think that motor is available anymore. It is also part of the bracket. I have heard that lubricating these motors will kill them. Which probably won't matter if it's already dead.

How do you manually disable this feature? I'm having the same problem!! annoying....

I have a 2006 SC430. I can’t unlock the doors or open the truck using the key fob. The battery is good the little red light on the fob works. Everything in the car works fine. Door locks lock and unlock using the buttons in the car. The button in the car that opens the truck does not work. Any suggestions?

Thanks very much Paul. Now I have to figure out the problem with the motor. The switch seems fine because when I move it back and forth I hear a slight click in both directions.
