  1. Traction control is off when you switch it off unless the wireing is mesed up. Cars not built for it can burn out by holding the brake and reving until wheels begin to slip then let off and floor it. Or get in a parking lot or an area that has some room, turn wheel sharp at sit still and floor it, this will cause the car to lose traction and slide sideways, then tires will begin burnout.
  2. Coud someone expound on this a little, what exacly it is, price, application anything alse they know?
  3. That guy sure is proud of his "unique whip"
  4. Call him at 3 in the morning and yell FORE!!
  5. I have to say it really sounds like the throttle position sensor.
  6. And IS owner's from the rest of the world aren't? Sure u are. And Mr. Raider? From the Bioware forums?
  7. I would suggest buying out a small HID producing company. ;)
  8. I have no idea but I have seen some helpful forums. Use the forum search for your problem.
  9. Yes, mainly because snow tires yield much better traction in snow and ice. As I said in my previous post, snow tires are a "must" if you want to operate on snowy roads, regardless of which/how many wheels are powered. All of my vehicles get dedicated snow tires in the winter. I never realized snow capable tires were so important. Down here that is something that people VERY rarly have to wory about.
  10. When my AC got noisy it was because the compressor was worn out and I had to get a new one. $300 total fixed the problem for me. about $200 for a used comp off of ebay and about $100 to have it installed.
  11. Are you low on fluid? Manybe your PS pump has a leak and you are slowly losing the fluid.
  12. You definatally shouldnt feel a serious lack of power. Maybe a slight amount but even that shouldnt be noticable. And if you experience it by turning it off...well you have a real prolem.
  13. It sounds like the throttle position sensor. Theyve been known to go bad on older toyotas and cause problems like that.
  14. Sure its a good investment. Although the airflow isnt that much difference (only at high rpms) its a lot cleaner and you never have to buy a new air filter again. Downsides are that you have to clean it and oil it yourself. I know the charts claim a drop in K&N will dramatically increase airflow, but they compare their product to a dirty filter so..
  15. He's already got some. Ill get them from him and put them up.
  16. Well my batt still dies after bout 5 days. Its a problem somewhere along the electrical line. Maybe Cherika has it to.
