(B) Remove the differential lock switch from the instrument panel finish lower sub−assy. © Inspect the continuity between the each terminal. INSPECT ACTUATOR NOTICE: Do as inspect the actuator while overhauling the transfer or as a unit. (a) Turn the ignition switch OFF and set the parking brake. (B) Using a rigid rack, jack up the vehicle so that the 4 wheels do not touch on the ground. © Turn the ignition switch ON and check that the front propeller shaft free or lock when switching the center differential lock. When switching is impossible, jack down the vehicle to move it back and forth, and then check it again. (d) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (e) Check the operating sound produced by center differential lock switch operation. If the operating sound cannot be heard, check the four wheel drive control ECU and the wire harness in the next step. When the wire harness and four wheel drive control ECU is normal, replace the actuator. 5. INSPECT FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL ECU (a) Connect the wire harness side connector to the four wheel drive control ECU and inspect wire harness side connector from the back side, as shown.

you can not install aftermarket HID kit in LX570 due to the AFS and there is a light bulb cover on the housing. even with the cover off, the bult will not clear the lense.

you are in LX470 forum, and you have a LS460???? which one are you talking about??

remove the top engine cover, and you will see the throttle body intake hose and the valve cover. you have to remove the intake hose and the cover inbetween the valve cover inorder for you to see the coil for plugs. from there you know what to do.

you have to roll your quarter panel

get a new update disk, it will fix everything.

and if your warranty is done. it's going to cost you $1050.00 for that unit from a dealer

your transfer shift actuator is shot.

look into ebay, but most of the time you have to buy it from a Lexus dealership

shaft number never change, Lexus just took off the rear lower contorl arm replacement. dealers in NY are 3-5 days wait time on the shaft.

same problem here, but my whining noise is from the front of the car. not very loud just like you said. and you can only hear it when there is no radio on or traffic around. can never figer it out. and the truck drives fine.

the center counsel don't have heat contorl. it's only for A/C

the head light lense and housing is only$530.88 with out the bulb. you have to swap the bulb over from the damage light.

you can not just get the grill, you have to change the whole door panel complete.

which dealer did you go to may I ask? I leased the car through a private leasing company and had it repaired at Lexus of RVC. I am no faulting them, I just believe that the car is defective...... thats all oh...RVC. why don't you give us a try. I don't think its a defective car, I think its the dealer that don't have a tech that knows what is going on.

all current order for the DVD update will be drop from the supplier. new verson 8.1 is due out November.
