  1. The weight/grade of engine oil could be too thin and sipping through your rings? What weight/grade engine oil are u using for ur car? Is your coolant mixed with oil (usually turns into a milky/brownish kind of colour) or any water condensation on your oil cap?
  2. Check your fuses in the kick panel on the driver's side. There is backlight in your climate and radio display therefore you're not going insane... Good luck...
  3. Sounds like ur brakes dude. Could be your pad fittings coming loose, do a search on the forum for "brake noises" or "brake fitting kit". Hope this helps.
  4. Is the car idling alright? Any mosture in your engine oil compartment? And doing a search on the forum is a good idea...
  5. I had the same dilima as you when it came to suspension upgrades but I ended up with the Tein CS (comfort sport) and it's a comfortable ride. Ride's slightly firmer than standard with the right settings but handles heaps better. It also depends on what u r setting your car up for i guess (race/hardcore or luxury). I wanted the big brakes upgrade kit but imo a simple stage 1 as SKperformance mentioned is enough unless u r looking at big power from engine mods/upgrades! My 2 cents worth...
  6. Mine's a 1999 GS300 and did mine at 100k.
  7. Got your wheels balanced? I rotate & balance mine every 30000-40000km to get a more even wear. Depends on the road conditions as well.
  8. I've just purchased mine a couple of days ago. It's the invisible ones that has got the sensor hidden behind the bumper. Works like any normal reverse sensor but without the hassle of drilling holes. :)
  9. "Mosh" is right. You should stick to manufacturers with good reputation and designed for that car. Running straight pipes and unknown mufflers could lead to loud dronning within the cabin let alone on the outside. As to performance wise, unless you or your exhaust shop know exactly what to do and/or willing to trial an error, stick to those that are known on the market for that car.
  10. Have you checked your tranny oil level and or had it replaced yet? Also check this, http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=42541 or do a search on the forum if it helps.
  11. BALL JOINTS STOP DRIVING IT NOW!!!!!!! Agree if ball joints are the problem! Put ur car up on stands and check for play.
  12. The descriptions are/could be symptoms of the rotors. Get it checked out to see if the rotors have warped. Another thing to check for on the discs are to see if they have been grooved bad(can usually tell by looking at the disc). If they are, either get some new rotors or machine them if possible. Hope this helps. :)
  13. Do a search on the forum dude. This problem has been mentioned before. From memory, it has got to do with your brake fitting kits and/or shim kits that goes with the pads into your caliper. Did you change your fitting kits and/or shims when you got your brakes done? I would advise you to do your fitting/shim kits first if not already done so and see how it goes. Hope this helps.
  14. Just my 2 cents worth. I too have the brembo but in slotted with TRD pads. IMO, I would not say it's a huge improvement but it does perform better over stockies. They do brake harder with less effort over stock. For the price I paid comparing to everything else in Australia, it definately's worth every cent. The downside of this combo is that i now have a load of brake dust and it does squeal a little (if you have your windows down u'll hear it for afew seconds at a certain speed). But with windows shut and in the car, you'll not hear nor see of this downside.:chairshot:
