Hello. I have a 2001 Gs430 and I was hoping someone could tell me if it would be safe for my car to put loud exhaust on it. I've heard that sometimes engines require some type of backpressure supplied by the stock exhaust to perform properly. Is this true? Thanks !!!!

HI again guys. Sorry I forgot to include this in my last post. I have heard that I can get a computer chip upgrade that would help boost my cars power. Has anyone heard of this before? If so, do you know what kind of power increase I could expect as well as some brand names if you know them. Thanks again!

Hello all. I am the proud owner of a 2001 GS 430. I love the car, but could definitely go for more power. Oh yeah, and I'd like it to be loud :) I really don't know much about upgrading cars and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction by answering my questions Is it safe for the car to put loud pipes on it? Would this boost the power at all? I've heard that straight pipes are loud, is that a viable option for me? Is there any specific types of exhaust that I should look at? What type of intake upgrades would give me some more power? Are they worth the money? This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to put a Turbo charger on this car? If so would it be safe? Any ideas on price? Thanks in advance guys. I'd really appreciate any help on this. As of right now I am L-O-S-T. Thanx :)
