Ok, I'm still on vacation. It's going something like this: Sunday: Church at the oldest church west of the Mississippi. Lunch at the "Club". Grocery shopping. While my family went down the the beach, I fell asleep. Monday: Ecola State Park, Cannon Beach Tuesday: Visit to Mt. Saint Helens. Apparently it's still erupting, interesting. Wednesday: Outlet mall & shopping in Seaside (yippee!!) That's all for now.

When I first joined LOC, I specifically asked for comparisons between the RX, the Edge & Veracruz. I drove the Veracruz & while I really liked the interior (snazzy blue trim lighting, smooth dash lines) more so than the RX, there were a few reasons why I didn't get one. The first was that the side mirrors are huge - I couldn't see around them when turning. The second was that it was bigger than what I wanted - no use for a third row. The third reason was that I could not afford the options packages that I wanted. Sure, I got a 3 year old RX, compared to a new Veracruz, but there are a heck of allot more features on the RX. Jasper made a really good point that Lexus offers luxury & Hyundai offers value. Just my 2 cents...

Remember, we're dealing with teenagers who are still refining their flirting skills. Actually, guys my age & older are still working on that.... hmmmm. Maybe ask her WHY you should buy her something. Has she done something wonderful that is worthy of receiving a gift? Always makes us crazy to have to justify things like that. She'll have to think of something good.
