  1. i have gone so much crap trying to find good wipers, i finally broke down and bought some oem and they are just out right the best. but im pretty sure the only way you can buy the blades are through the dealer.
  2. yea i have a 94 and it most definitely has the "regular old lock"
  3. o and thanks everyone for the responses
  4. so is the best way to check the tires is switching the front two?
  5. well i hope it doesnt have anything to do with my tires since they are new. They are about 3 weeks old...so is there anything else that could cause the pulling to the right?
  6. well the steering wheel was a little off to start with, but now its more and the alignment isn't fixed...
  7. My 1994 ES300 is running insainly well for being this old. The only problem i have is that it pulls to the right. I took it to Firestone and got an alignment done on it. They showed me the before and after specs saying that the front left and rear right were miss aligned. They fixed the problems, I get in my car and it still pulls to the right. So now my car pulls to the right, and the steering wheel is turned to the left while going strait...is there anything else that could be wrong instead of the alignment?
  8. lol, well i usually get a hose and spray down the underside of everything...seems to work pretty good, no smoke =]
  9. well quick check, make sure that you have that scroll thing for the lights turned up
  10. that is just crazy, lately my button seems to have a mind of its own. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. i would really like to know a fix. so someone please help!
  11. i would do a quick check on the actual bulbs, and yea the low beams really arnt good, you can pick up some new Sylvania's, they helped me a lot.
  12. i completely agree with SW03ES. I have a 94 es300 and i love the car to death. yes i would like a newer car, but that newer car would be a Lexus. now that i have owned a Lexus it would be hard to get anything else.
  13. lol, yea i will try the bag trick. thanks for the tip
  14. i was just wondering why the oil filter is in such a ridiculous position, i mean i enjoy changing my own oil, but is there any better way in taking it off, i mean i get oil all over the place and if you dont get every bit off, it burns. please help!
  15. i would go on the safe side and drive it to the lexus place, but thats just me.
  16. when i ran my power line down i didnt remove the plastic, you can lift it slightly and i just mashed it in there, worked fine for me.
  17. have you ever watched top gear??? and dude, you dont need to get all angry, its just a conversation...but really, There is actually a threshold of around 250hp at which a front wheel drive car can take a corner effectively.
  18. well wats the plan with this turbo ES, is it a strait up drag car, or you gonna actually race. It has been said that any front wheel drive car has a limit of about 250-270 hp, higher than that it will race like crap. i just dont see the point in turboing an ES...and when i was talken about the SC's i meant the old one, like 94, and 95 where they looked good and ppl are getter 1000-1500hp out of them with a twin turbo...among other things.
  19. why would your friend even want to turbo an ES, it makes no sense. To turbo an IS, or SC, that would make perfect sense because they are supposed to go fast. In my opinion it would be an awfully expensive and stupid mistake. Keep the ES like its supposed to be, a good little showing off car...works good for me because i am only 16...and cruising car. There is no need for more power on an ES.
  20. i can tell you one thing...if its anything like my 94...your in trouble, it took me about 5 and a half hours to change the spark plugs...10 min for the first 3. So good luck!
  21. well my 1994 ES300 which in my opinion looks, drives, and rides better than my brothers 1999 Honda Accord EX V6, I would have to give it an 8.5...I love this car, even though it is 13 years old.
  22. ahhhh you ppl are great...i love this forum so much info..you just dont know wat to do with all of it thanks everyone!!!
  23. yea i was talking about the inside, and the evaporation of the cleaning products makes sense. i will still try that turtle wax cleaner stuff...thanks again for the help
  24. just a quick question here. Does my 1994 ES300 absolutly have r134a?
