  3. well recently i have been noticing the classic old car squeak. i always hear these older cars that squeak and always hope that my 94 es300 wouldnt, and now it is starting. is there anyways to get rid of this squeak!!!
  4. 1994 ES300 with 88,600 miles Im the second owner and i have a stack of papers about an inch thick of maintenance papers. I have had absolutly no problems with it, but i think i need some brake pads and spark plugs.
  5. how do you drive, because i have a 94 ES300, which is supposed to get 18 and 24. But it all depends on how you drive. I tested my gas mileage by filling the tank, and not going over 2500 rpm, well, you can go over a little. I ended up with almost 22 mpg
  6. Im 16, and i have a 1994 ES300 and love it. i agree with Goin Loco, this car is very classy and i to baby it and love it. some of my friends say it really old, but i say, "its a Lexus"...i win

  8. wow, so basically my gas meter is off. I just filled the tank up today. I went 194 miles on 9.3 gallons which is 20.9 mpg. This is city driving, and shifting under 2500 rpm. a lot better than i thought i was getten.
  9. make sure you check your battery terminals, mine had completly corroded on my 1994 ES300.
  10. wow thank you so much, i got it to open, and now it is working great. i really didnt want to have to replace this one, and i am so thankful for you tellen what to do. Thanks again
  11. it will probably be a week or so before that tank runs out

  13. yea, all im doin is driving in the city. well mostly to school and back becuase i am in the 10th grade. so far i have gone about 50 miles and the needle is still touching the full line.
  14. wow, this car gets bad gas mileage. my dads 2001 DeVille gets better gas mileage. but what can you expect from a car that is 12 years old. I think i have official fallen in love with this car.
  15. My car (1994 ES300) was driven by an older lady, and i am pretty sure that she never used the cd changer. Now, when i put a cd in the changer and press the cd button it just says that it is open, even though it is clearly closed. After leaving the cd in for a few days, i try the cd button again, and it can recongnize what slot it is in, but then reads "error." I have no idea what to do.
  16. I just recieved this 1994 ES300 from my dad. This is my first car, and i want to have a little fun sometimes. So i go out, give it some gas, and before i know it, ive used a lot of gas. I dont know if the car is using all of it, or its my gauge. Is there anything i can do to get better gas mileage. Even just plain out "grandpa driving" seems to use a lot of gas. Someone help me.
