  1. AS far as i was able to check my car didnt have any kind of service like this. so my gas mileage decreased for like 50 miles per tank and i can hear all my bearings already, they making noises. tenssioner is also making some strange noise. and water pump i'm changing just to be sure its not gonna brake on me anytime soon. i really dont wanna change timing belt again if its gonna brake.

  2. I think i'm gonna do the whole thing myself, just dont know when i'm gonna have time, not i'm waiting for my (DENSO once again) spark plugs to arrive. i think i will do it either next or in 2 weekends. whole operation should not take more then 1-2 days, unless of course i will run into some complications. i will make a lot of pictures and i will post em on my site and i will try to make a clear follow up instructions, so you guys will not have to pay lotsa money for this expensive labor:)

  3. i did an alignment and i changed tires and this vibration is still there:( yah brookly streets are bad, i almost lost whole front right wheel when it got into the huge whole. i though rim cracked but only the tire got some damage, i changed it and vibration is still there, it just switched from 70-80 to 80-90....

  4. you might as well look for a local store instead of buying a rebuild transmission online. gonna be too much on S&H:)

local shops offer warranty from 3-6 month depending on a shop

as to the year they all different.

from 90 to 91 there is one model

from 95 to 97 another one and for 98-2k there is a third one. the 2001-present is out of the question i presume:)

  5. they did even more then 1000 hp with 1uzfe block. go to lextreme website and check out the links of what people did with that engine. its awesome!

and engine blocks are the same. as i said only the lenghs of the piston movemend is slightly longer. a lot of companies do this. its cheaper this way instead of building a brand new engine.

  6. its www.newlexusparts.com

and they are in plano texas. but they are good, gettin all parts from em:)

try them, might be cheaper, despite that they overcharge for shipping a little bit.

but still much cheaper then your local dealer. at least in brooklyn:)

Brooklyn women are the best arent they? :D B)

  7. this original "security system" is no good whatsoever except for lockin unlockin doors.:)

use compustar alarm. i have it for about 1.5 years and no problems whatsoever.

its 2 way alarm with remote start abd bunch of other functions. i love it!!!!

    check it out

    www.compustar.org

  8. my brother had the same problem in his legend, and when we traced all the relays and switches we found out that the problem is ECU.

the signal from the swithch goes in to the ECU and there it goes to the couple of relays that fire up the whole AC system. when we checked all the relays, ECU didnt give any signal to any of them. i checked the schemes for my ls and i found out that lexus utilize almost the same scheme. so trace and check all of them in order to get the real cause. of course if you are sure it is electrical.
