2007GS450H

How safe is the 3 series? im thinking of getting one for the wife I went to the dealership and saw a 2007 bmw 335i sedan MSRP closing near 50k :o i really like the power in it I would be trading in an 2003 rx 2wd It really has all the stuff my wife wants but im still concerned about a compact sedan thanks in advance for your help

i actually talked with someone at my dealership and he told me there is no GS460 comming he said "peformance wise" it would be too close to the GS450H im not sure if he is giving me BS

sw they took out the cassette in the is ls rx es and most of the lexus models Thats the reason i do not want the gs because of the cassette i pefer it to be an indash cd player thats the only complaint i have on my 06 lx470

Wait hold on a sec, so is the extra seats for kids or for the in-laws, or what? You just mentioned "The family's growing" but didn't specify HOW it's growing. Now if it's for the in-laws, I don't think you really need the extra seats all the time, which leaves you with many other choices. But if it is a must to carry around 6-8 seats, then go with either the LC or Sequoia. Now you mentioned RX, 4Runner, and Highlander? RX doesn't have a third seat, and as you may know, the 3rd seats in the 4Runner and Highlander are a joke(even in the GX). IF you want comfortable 3rd seats, go with a Suburban. Now if you don't want American, and have extra $$$, shoot for the GL450 (trust me, they're the most comfortable 3rd seats you would ever sit in!). the gl450 reliability is very poor go with the cruiser

I guess i will have to go with the new x5 i probably will wait for the 08 model to fix all the problems it has

After looking at the new x5 with all options (3.0i) It went to $62k. I was like WTF and decided to look in to the acura mdx. I have a few questions Does it have smart key can i order it w/o 3rd row Does it have a stiff ride ( i have a 2006 acord exl that is my sons and i hate driving it because of rough ride) how is the cup holders turning circle (this is important because of the rx 43 ft turning circle) I might wait for the 08 mdx to fix all the problems I still can not believe the bmw is 62k I could get another lx for a few grand more

Redesign expected sometime from mid-late 08 or early 09 as an 09 model. Highly doubt it They still have not redesigned the LX470 LOL :D probably just cosmetic taillights, grille , wheels etc

not the IS, the second cupholder is in the armrest, and to actually have a drink there (im yet to have one there anyway so its not a problem for me) u have to push the armrest back and tilt it up. not the best layout. the new X5 is out, go ask your dealer about the twin turbos or research it online. however im pretty sure it doesnt, the 3.0 probably doesnt though. The 3.0i is the only one that has the twin turbo like the bmw 335i (same engine as the X5 3.0i) The 4.8i Will probably stay the same because there is no twin turbo for the V8 I already reaserched online and seems nobody knows ;)

i guess in japan they do not have a biggie size drink at wendys

the reason i do not want a rx350 is because of the redesign in 09 and the 08 comming in feb-mar 2007 i do not want an outdated car I already have to buy a lx570 whenever it comes out. Still hesitant on the bmw because i am still wondering if it will get the twin turbo

yea I used to have a sequoia before i bought the lx470 and the cupholders were very good I would think the luxury company would have better cupholders Looks like i will be getting the X5 but om still wondering if the twin turbo will be added to the 3.0i like the 335i :)

I actually had a rx330 loaner and the turning circle was better but still not good and the cupholders were better but did not hold water bottles properly. I can not believe my 06 accord has better cupholders I have not driven the new mdx but going to. I do not really like the front end of it thats why im thinking of going for the x5 Also im ruling out the rx because redesign is in 2009 and the 2008 is comming in feb.07 Which ever i choose it will not be as solid as my lx470

Im thinking of getting a new 2007 bmw x5 4.8or 3.0i What do you guys think im not going to get rx350 because my rx300 had a lot of problems Weak brakes (for its weight) crappy cupholder poor rear visibility poor pickup poor handiling Also that poor turning radius Its reaching 50k and i think i should get rid of it before problems start either way i choose i will still have my 06 LX470 and my 06 accord exl Also guys can you tell me if the x5 will have the twin turbo like the 335i in the 3.0i

denslex the navigation wouldnt fit because the dash was redesigned for 03+ and is totally diffrent The nav that went for the 2002 lx470 wouldnt even fit and a lot of customization would need to be done My advice is to save up for an 04+

it wouldnt work at all the sreering wheel fuctions wouldnt work like bluetooth navigation controls etc

yea i got a 2003 lexus rx300 also. You probaly will pay close to msrp Im taking my rx for trade in to carmax and wait for an 07rx400h

i have a 2003 lexus rx300 2wd which is apprching 43k miles the interior and exterior is starting to show some age and want to sell it to carmax. I lost my paperwork for the extended warranty Will i still get a refund? I called the dealer and said that when i buy a new lexus they can refund it i already got 3 other cars 2007 lexus gs450h 2006 lexus lx470 2006 honda accord exl with xm I really dont need another car so the accord will replace the rx300 Do i still get a refund for the warranty
