  1. Well i guess no one has tried this yet so the only way to find out is to try it......For anyone interested i'll let you know if it works(or not;)
  2. Well i can tell you from personal experience....I've put rims on 4 of 5 lexus's i've owned. All of them were my everyday drivers. it's true if you want a ride and drive that's close to factory than 18's are the way to go however i put 20's on my last car which was also a 98' GS and other than a little more road noise they rode as well as 18's. Not to mention (in my opinion) had alot more curb appeal! With good tires that are balanced properly you should be more than happy going bigger! You only live once:)
  3. I had a 94 LS that did the same thing. The idle speed sensor(i believe) is what went bad. Replacing That resolved the issue for me
  4. Yes, the bolt pattern is the same. 5 on 4 1/2 is one of the most common 5 lug pattern out there. Those 430 wheels should give your car a nice facelift:) They will fit for sure!
  5. Indeed, It's highly suggested that the waterpump be replaced while it's already exposed when timing belt is done...It will save you money in the long run!
  6. I have a 98' LS400 but mine has a leather shifter knob. I have been looking on e-bay for a wooden one after pricing it at the local dealership.....I am wondering if the LS400 and 430 knobs are compatible as far as mounting? Also are the GS and LS knobs the same thread/bolt placements aswell? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! THANKS:)
  7. " flex-neo-rod " They're right, you're gonna be happy either way but don't go as far as saying satisfied! I owned 3 LS's before buying a GS. It was summer and i had an itch for something sporty. As nice as the car was it did lack that Rock solid feel of the mother ship! It wasn't long before i couldn't take the separation anziety and got another LS....If you love sweet looks than the GS is right up your alley, BUT if you truely enjoy the ride and drive experience then NOTHING compares to the LS!!!! It's a matter of opinion but the numbers don't lie ;)
