Probably el cheapo aftermarket bulbs. Replace with oem and search for a new/used lens. Be sure to check the socket and wiring when you repair.

Not going to happen. Look for a usa nav for your year. I might have one, I will look. yes, I have a 1 piece es330 nav with voice nav amp. everything plug in and play with 2 t-taps for speed sensor and rear view camera. It has am sat button for direct hookup of factory xm or sirius. its an up to date factory gps and can handle all the latest accessories. Contact me for more details. I disagree, my 1998 528i was in many ways easier to work on than my 2002 LS430. Plus, since so many more BMW owners work on their own cars than Lexus owners do, there's a lot more free knowledge about BMWs to be found on the Internet. There are countless how-tos about repairing late model 5-series BMWs but precious few about late model LS430s. EEEHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! You must still be a hard riving bimmer owner ???

Do you need just the connectors ? Or do you need the wiring harness ? I guess I'm not sure of my terminology here - but the installer tells me in an ideal world he'd love to have both the connectors and the full string of wiring back out to each component and up to the head unit - or as much as can be reasonably acquired. I'd need the connectors at minimum, since my unit came without them. What #'s are on the cassette door ? P something.......... What year is the nak systen out of ? And yes you will need speakers. On the cassette door the number is NP1607. I have two replacement units to choose from - one has the date of 1992 on a chassis label. The other has a more recent serial number, so I'm guessing a more recent year, but it doesn't have a date on the chassis. Can I use aftermarket 4 ohm speakers? the 2004 map has 100% more data than the original 2000 wheras the 2006 map has only about 10% more new info than the 2004 map. when the 2000 lexus ls and gs had navigation not one toyota model did and only a few bmw acura mercedes had them . the amount of map data aDDED between 2000 and 2004 was huge. ALSO ALL THE NEW NAVIAGTION SYSTEMS IN JAPAN ARE GOING BACK TO DISC DRIVE and away from dvd MAPS so someday the table may be turned and disc drive update will be easier to get than the by then antique dvd maps. I agree 100%

I advise plug wires, plugs, check your neg. ground to the body, New air filter, Clean your maf sensor, and clean your throttle body. ;)

You have to install all of your software before you connect to the internet, The first thing you want to do is update windows, Then Norton, Then ad aware, spybot and any other software you may have. DO NOT ACCDESS ANY OTHER PROGRAM BEFORE YOUR CORE SOFTWARE IS UPDATED. Make sure your firewall is configured properly, And if you have a router use it, It is recognised as a seperate firewall for anything trying to get to your computer. You must format your harddrive before you reinstall windows xp to start with. The best and most ACCURATE advice someone has provided on LOC concerning computers. Follow dcfish’s suggestion step by step precisely. Gracias senor 93, I have been doing this comp thing for toooooo long.
