Regardless, OEM and OEM only ;) It's worth the $50.00 an axel. If you buy aftermarket don't come back on the forums and ask "Why are my breaks Clunking,Squeaking, Creating so much brake dust, etc...)

#1 Have the ball joints inspected, I have a 98 gs300 and had mine inspected when my brake pads were replaced and no problems at 120k #2 Timing belt at 90k (but can go 120k easily) change the water pump and idler pulleys also. The nav can be done at the dealer or you can always find updates online. The road noise is probably the tires, Common. Welcome to the club Enjoy the ride ;) -

100% Lexus OEM pads only, You will never have any problems. ;) DC, never say never. Find a Toyota dealer, spend $50-60, and you are ready to go. Well, I have always bought my OEM pads online and have a Toyota dealer install with new shims at every pad change. I never had a problem ;) Is that better ?

Buy OEM balljoints, They are around $75.00 apiece online.

You will get a correct answer in a very short amount of time compared to waiting for someone to do the work for you. BTW Anytime ;)
