Bosche claims these 4 point plugs to be the best and will yeild the best results for power...That is not the case and I think that is false advertising... However, I do know the 4 point platinums are used in rotory engines and also race car applications, so maybe they would work better with a stronger then stock ignition coils...On standard street cars these plugs are a wash just like the old Spit fire plugs....COMPLETE GARBAGE and should be taken off the shelves....

Still going wow, I never thought this thread would be so popular... I just figured when you search the forums looking for info on how to mod up a lex you need to search thru so many threads to find out all this info. and then you still end up confused.....I said maybe I can help some people out by compacting all the info needed on one thread from my experiences.... This thread really doesn't cover how to turbo charge or super charge your Lexus's though...I am still working on it and will try and ad a single turbo set up to this thread with pic's and how to info...List of parts, etc.. This thread really just covers the basic mods....Also interior and exterior cosmetic mods... Glad you liked it anyway, sorry to hear you missed your class because of it, not good....

I think it depends on your interests.... - For general info - this forum is laid back and great, I love it.....Fantastic adminastrators, and members... - The Club lexus forum is very informative too, but you get attitude from members and adminastrators with god like forum complex's... I had a run in with the Senior Administrator GSDave on the Club forum and got banned for life, and I didn't even say anything bad either, just disagreed with one of his suspensions, the guy just didn't like me I guess or was having a bad day...... - For Lexus hotrodding info - Lextreme.com but it costs money to join...

Just finished a major tune up on my FJ80 Toyota Landcruiser and got talked into buying the almighty "4 Point Bosche Platinum spark plugs" pre gapped....Needless to say they were the most expensive plugs too at like $9 each... Finished the tuneup expecting to feel a little more power but instead it was the opposite... I changed the cap, rotor, plugs wires, air and fuel filters, cleaned the TB, synthetic oil and filter changes, cleaned the injectors, etc... Cranked it up and noticed an immediate power loss even though it ran a little smoother.... After being disappointed I said to myself it's got to be the plugs, I immediately reinstalled my fried NGK plugs and the power was restored.... I think I will be going back to the Kragen auto parts tomarrow to get my money back for the greatest plugs on earth...Yeah right!!!! Fair warning stick with OEM, NGK, or Denso plugs and stay clear of the 4 and 2 point plugs because they are crap....

I don't think it really matters, but I got the Bosche's on my Lex and Cruiser....

Dude, what city do you live in?...Sounds like Watts, South Central or maybe even the LBC out here in LA, Cali....... . A slobbering 150lb Bull Mastiff dog will do wonders for you along with an AK40 assualt riffle if your in an area such as I mentioned above..... :o

I was actually reffering to the other posts in reference to guns and what not...Didn't think you would actually blast those punk kids.... Anyway, if your big enough and have the balls then confront them next time you see them on your property or around, let them know you are serious and scare the heck out of them with maybe a good !Removed! kicking or body shake, let them know you got a gun and they are lucky they didn't get shot....That should keep them off your property.....I think most would not recommend you taking that course of action but it does work if the local police are to busy eating donuts at the local bakery... Fair warning though - If they look like gang bangers I wouldn't mess, doesn't matter how big and brave you are.... Knives and guns will win out over punches and body slams all day long....Be carefull and good luck...

I have been using the Belkin AM/FM transmitter to connect my Ipod to the stock Lexus head stereo unit......Perfect sound quality, much better then the tape and wire connection... I have tried 3 other brand name transmitters and none worked as well as Belkin... Ebay has them for cheap, something like $30.... I have them in both my cars...

Those IS rims look like your rims but with crome... No offense but they look kinda like crome hubcaps.... Get Skperformance rims like that is shown in his picture under his post.......Those rock!!!!!! You may need to take out a small equity line to afford SK's rims and tires though, they look like they are bank..... These aren't that either and may give you ideas... but these in the pics aren't my favorites...
