  2. You can't restore CRACKED leather, you can make it look a little better with these leather products but that's it... Ebay for leather new covers is what I did, then went to an uphostery shop and had them installed...$600 for the new leather covers and $300 to install.. New interior....Vallla...

  9. I thought I would drag up this old thread to help some folks out... I've been asked many performance questions, so this thread covers it all... A quick story - Just a week ago I had a head to head race against a brand new Z06 500hhp Corvette... Too my amazement I was able to stay with this powerful and extremely fast Vette 0-50mph and then the Vette pulled away... I had recently upgraded my rear tires to soft semi-drag radials and wow that makes a difference in off the line traction.. Before the tire upgrade I was hard pressed to stay with a standard Vette.. Even though I lost the race to me it was still a moral victory... To think my old 1992 SC400 could hang with a Z06 up to 50mph was very satisfying to me to say the least... I wish I could have won, but my top gears and heavier car was just not up for the task even with the 150 nitrous shot in full effect... Story over... Those Z06 Vette's are one of the fastest street rides around as far as I'm concerned...That baby can fly 0-100mph...I was impressed with that cars continued excelleration from 50-100mph.... It just pulls and pulls and pulls with no let off what so ever... Bottom line - traction in races is everything, all the power in the world is useless unless you can keep those rears from spinning out...
  10. Smooth I think you ment IFL (International Fight League) Combat
  11. Get on Ebay and get yourself some Drilled and Slotted rotors and OEM pads...Your braking will be improved by 20% and the rotors will last as long as you own the car...They will not crack or warp as I've ran mine hard for 4 years now, braking is great, no problems to report...I also own a heavier car... Oh they look awesome too and you will save money.. My two cents...

  14. Well, on the SC300's you can make the exhaust and intake flow better for sure by changing out the mufflers, cats and straightening out the exhaust piping. You can also go extreme and toss some headers onas well... For the intake you can work in the BFI intake for free... Lastly a piggy-back ECU...That should power up the SC300's some 40-50hp or so... If you don't want to swap in a motor later on down the road on an SC300 I would go with an SC400 if you don't mind the automatic transmission...More powerful and better long lasting motor... Also has that wing on the back too..

  16. Daisen bushings are crap.... Beware!!!! OEM are the best....
  17. Sc300's have limits to modifiying the inline 6 cylinder motor and are really not powerful enough to drift in my opinion... The SC300's come in automatic and or manual transmissions, but I would only purchase a manual tranny if you plan to modify... Many people do engine swaps on the sc300's with the Supra 2jz.. motors... The Sc400 have the bigger V8 4.0 liter motors and are capable of handling up to 400-500whp but the SC400's only come equiped with automatic trannies which limits you to modify or drift as well... I own the Sc400 and love the car but the tranny is a hinderance when modifying... The SC300's are a bit gutless in stock form, I would look into another car for your interests... Maybe the manual IS300's or something for drifting, something smaller and lighter, that is if you budget permits...I've seen some pretty spunky modified IS300's floating around, that can bolt and drift very well...
  18. I'll give you $75 plus shipping costs for all the under body plastic covers and screws that are located directly under the motor.... I can paypal you the money and give you my address for shipping... Those plastic covers can fold up to be shipped...Let me know, PM me if you want to do this...
  19. Doesn't sound good.... Sounds like you have two seperate problems.... Try getting a full service tuneup and tranny service and see if that helps... Sounds like you have a dirty intake, throttle body or something.... Ecu tranny codes are a miss maybe... The good news is your tranny isn't slipping and an engine stall out at idle is usually a simple fix....

  21. How about 5 years from now? Maybe the drilling the hole might work though.... I just know you are still allowing alot of air and moisture to run thru the headlamp which is supposed to sealed off from the elements...I personally would be just a little weary about that after several years..... If it worked for you then maybe it's a go... That's inovative and creative anyway and I can appreciate that....
