  1. If you buy an IS300 the lights come as standard equipment.
  2. I've seen some for LS but not for ES. Just dunno if anybody makes them.
  3. That's impressive. I especially like the big !Removed! intercooler
  4. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...464entry78464
  5. First thing that comes to mind would be a loose or cracked vaccuum line.
  6. Go here and plug in your preferences and you should get a price that's pretty close. http://www.edmunds.com/tmv/used/index.html...dex..3.1.lexus*
  7. Dealer auctions are a sort of last resort to move a car that won't sell on the dealers' lot for whatever reason. Also keep in mind that as new car prices go up, used car prices get adjusted accordingly, so used cars that are in demand, like a 02 LS, don't lose value as fast on the actual used car market. Also, if you look at 02 models like on AutoTrader you'll see that mileage is the biggest factor in asking price, all other things equal.
  8. I wouldn't touch an auction car with a ten foot pole.
  9. You could try resetting the ECU by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 20 minutes. Then start the car and drive about 10 miles of highway, then about 5 miles of town driving. Then test the emissions.
  10. But he has a GS and there is not CT kit for the GS yet. :) ← Well *BLEEP*.
  11. A good coat of wax is as good as anything. Also, when you come back, make sure to run the egine and defroster to melt anything like wipers frozen to the windshield, etc.
  12. If the SRT for your cars uses the piggy back ECU thingy, then you have to solder wires into the connectors in your original ECU. Some folks have good luck and some don't. I've steered clear of SRT for that reason.
  13. vinegar, club soda, or BLEACH (dont use this on your wheels, bleach will kill chrome!) ← Thanks. We got lots of people around here that like to spit out the side window of their pickup trucks.
  14. People that got the Carson Tuned kits for the IS really like them.
  15. Gold rims seem to have a certain ricey connotation for me.
  16. Doesn't the Gold Class have a cleaning agent? It may be sorta defeating the purpose of layering. Maybe some High Tech Yellow on top?
  17. Yeah cause the price of a CPO is usually above the standard used price, by about the price of an extended warranty.
  18. You could get an aftermarket plug and then use an ice pick type tester to determine which wires are hooked to what lights, then match that to the plug on your trailer.
  19. Wait a minute. If you bought this car from the Certified division, and it's a Certified car, that certification should already include the extended warranty, from what I've read.
  20. Bolt shouldn't come out either. But, maybe whoever worked on that did something to knock the ABS sensor loose?
  21. i asked them that is this particular problem (abs) under warranty and the service writer said no it is not..he told that i should have it diagnose to see the problem and i asked it is under warranty? will i be charged the diagnostic fees, and he said yes. ← Ok the, go back and talk to the service manager. The light should not be on, and they should check the codes at no charge.
